A Louisiana native by birth, Stephanie Bell spent her childhood in many cities in the Gulf South, while her extended family held true to Louisiana. After attempting to live elsewhere, she discovered that the Bayou State just can’t be beat. Nowhere else seems to have that perfect mix of fabulous weather, endless restaurant options, arts and culture, outdoor activities, innovative spirit, and the constantly-running-into-people-you-know sense of community.
Getting to work with passionate New Orleanians and advocate for our local industries, businesses, and economy is what makes her position, Director of Investor Relations at New Orleans Business Alliance, so rewarding and fun.
Prior to NOLABA, Stephanie led the communications department as Director of Outreach and Alumni Engagement for the Delgado Community College, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. Through this role and others, she developed a strong sense of devotion for the small business sector. These experiences also gave her a deep appreciation for how public and private partnerships can be so effective and impactful. Bell has extensive experience in general management, marketing, and operations. After graduating from business school, she ran the Advertising Department for McClatchy owned Sun Herald Multimedia, where she was also an award-winning marketing consultant.
Stephanie received her Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
